BEATNIK x Ahoj: SUNDAY ROAST
To mark our third birthday, we’re doing something a little different this Sunday.
We’re lucky to have Filip on our team, the mind behind Ahoj (“ah-hoy”). Ahoj is his coffee project, shaped by years of work as both barista and roaster, bringing together his Czech roots with his Edinburgh home.
SUNDAY ROAST is your chance to watch coffee roasted in real time and taste the same coffee across five different rest periods. This close look at the roasting process, led by Ahoj on their ROEST L100 Plus, shows exactly how rest shapes flavour, structure and balance.
Ahoj will be roasting a honey/thermal shock pink bourbon from El Placer, produced by Sebastian Ramirez. Limited quantities will also be available to buy.
