KAI Matcha is grown in the renowned tea-growing region of Shizuoka, an area celebrated for its misty mountains, fertile soils and ideal climate. Shizuoka produces some of the world’s most refined and expressive matcha.

KAI Matcha marks a new chapter for Michi as their first matcha offering sourced from this historic region. Produced using time-honoured shading and harvesting techniques, it is crafted from a thoughtful blend of regional cultivars, anchored by Yabukita and Okumidori.

The result is a beautifully balanced matcha with a soft, cashew-butter forward profile, subtle sweetness and a clean, lasting finish.
